Dr. SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), was established in 1999 under the reign of Sri SNS Charitable Trust. The trust was established in the year 1997 with a philanthropic outlook of serving the society in the fields of education, health and industry. Dr. S N Subbramanian is the Chairman of SNS Colleges. Dr. S Rajalakshmi is the Managing trustee and correspondent of the SNS College.
The trustees are with rich experience and wide knowledge in industry, medicine and higher education, dedicated themselves to work for the development of the society in these fields by way of starting various charitable institutions in a phased manner. Dr. S Rajalakshmi has started her career as a medical practitioner and conducted more than 1000 surgeries and be the reason for happiness in many families. Her fingerprint registered in different fields such as medicine, textile, industry and education.
